It started as a thank-you. A small thing you could hold on your way out the door — something that said: you came, and it mattered. The tote was designed to carry things. We just didn't know it would carry this much.
Every detail on purpose.
Royal blue canvas. A screen-printed illustration of a woman cradling her cup — drawn by Lily Wilson, our second collaboration together. Lily also drew a postcard of how the Apartment Café makes her feel; she understood exactly what this space is. The Apartment Café name stamped in the corner. Quiet enough to be a secret. Bold enough to be an invitation.
The enamel pins are hers to collect. What she puts on it is part of the story.
A huge thank you to Shaya Marran, who modeled for us and helped shape the creative direction behind this shoot.
The evidence you were in a room where something real happened.
Made for after.
For the mornings when you're still turning something over in your head from the night before. For the market run that becomes a slow afternoon. For every errand that doubles as thinking time.
A bag big enough for the way you actually live.
